well, some of you may or may not recall the story of a girl in the UK who sold her virginity on e bay to pay for her university tuition fees, but today there was a similar story in a newspaper of a girl in south america who advertised her virginity in a local newspaper, because she needs the money in order to pay for medical treatment for her mother who is suffering from a serious heart condition.
So, how far would you go, would you sell your body if you really desparately needed the money?
thats a definite no! my body is precious, and i have to be in love with the person i give it up to. if i so desperately needed money, ide work for it, cause thats the best way to get it.
Ewwww, no thank you. Never. Rather no university than offering my virginity to earn money. Never ever.
well loveForAll you make a good point in that you would get a job, but thing is, for some, that is the job they choose to do. Personally I couldn't, but if it was a choice between that and say my son dying because he needed medical treatment I couldn't afford? well you'll do anything for your child, or for those you love, so .. although I'd explore every avenue before I had to go down that route, I guess if it came to it, it's something I'd have to consider, only in those circumstances though I'd rather drop out of uni than sell my body.
Well there are limits. I would not do it for money but if it's for someone elses life, someone's life who I really care for, I would consider doing that, too.
ok, let me extend the topic slightly to the male element of this site, now I don't really wanna know which of you guys would pay for sex, but, bearing in mind, this girl was advertising her virginity, for £5000. No doubt someone actually paid the price, but as a guy, would it make a difference that she was a virgin? after all, if she'd just been advertising sex, I doubt there are many guys who would pay 5 grand for sex, but for a virgin? why the difference.
well I prostitute my art so hmm if it was that or starve, or have a loved 1 dying when I could pay for it, then with a great deal of trepidation and convincing I could just about do it...she only advertised as a virgin there would be no way of knowing for sure until you were both horizontal..then imagine the shock if she had lied its a dangerous proposition for both of you.
